Interesting things certainly have taken place for this years Electric Daisy Carnival festival. Not only did the event take place away from it’s usual location in LA, but fans were greeted by Q-dance’s first appearance in the U.S.! Q-Dance is well known for their Hardstyle and Hardcore sessions from the Netherlands. With this new milestone in EDM, we can only wonder how this could uplift the Hardstyle music scene in the United States. We will have to wait and see what happens with that.
On day 2 of EDC, unforeseen wind conditions put a halt to the tunes blasting at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Getting the reactions from the crowd, you can tell how hardcore the EDM scene is here. As soon as the announcement comes in with the emphasis on the words “FOR YOUR SAFETY”, a lot of fans would have probably voted to keep the show rolling if they could!
