EDG 2.0 Future Update/Request

I want something like you can make a private group, like a group for young trance producers, or for house producers, or something like that and have a private forum for that group. If possible, a radio show would be good where you will feature new uploaded tracks.

Idk about the forums, but I'm considering adding something like that to the main site. The rest has been planned as well.

Another update:


Just letting you know that what's being done right now is making sure necessary things are taken care of to make the transition to the next update smooth and stay that way. As said before, there's not a set time/date of competition for this but work is being done regardless.

I'll see ya around here on the forums most of the time as I've got EDG in my RSS reader. Does that make me a "hipster"? Not that there's anything wrong with being hip!

Dunno if this has been said, but I reckon it'd be really good to have special mixes every once in a while by a certain artist. Maybe not monthly, that might be too regular, but y'know, make it a repeating thing.

Hey, you could even have a little interview with the artist, just exploring their interests, production process, whatever. Think it could be an interesting little idea to get some of us out there more to people!

Nice idea you chipped in there Lowell. Everything anomaly mentioned is planned. Just with mixes, we don't plan on hosting any mixes (Having people directly upload them on our site). So with that said, livestreaming is an option which is already in place, but has never been thought about for EDGTV. Without livestreaming, that's where are podcast come in.

I already have people in mind for heading off certain features on the site if they are interested in it. When everthing in the site is in place I'll start contacting people, and this is around the time where we will have folks test out new features early. Then after that is the official site update.

Just thought that maybe you could have a release section to discuss upcoming releases in EDM. So we have some people perhaps moderate separate genres such as I could do Hardstyle with that being my main area of knowledge. It could help to get more people involved with the community

It's going to be nice. Nothing ground breaking besides two specific features that are planned. But that's just all right now.
